Northern Lights Ranch is a unique restaurant, accommodation and activity facility located in Finnish Lapland, 15 km from Levi Ski Resort and 30 km from Kittilä airport. It combines tranquility, pure air and beautiful nature into an Arctic experience which is rare to come by.
Because of our remote location away from artificial light, Northern Lights Ranch offers the best chance to experience the amazing Northern Lights, which are often visible from September until April.

Northern Lights Ranch features 6 different types of Sky View Cabins – Standard, Superior, Superior with Sauna, Deluxe with Outdoor Hot Tub, Deluxe Plus with Outdoor Hot Tub and Sky View Cabin Ultimate. All the Sky View Cabins are designed with careful thought in Scandinavian style and high standards to best fit to the extraordinary environment.
The cabins are furnished with motorized twin beds including ensuite bathrooms with a toilet, a shower, toiletries and hair dryers. All the cabin types include a fridge / a mini bar, a coffee capsule machine and a water kettle. Free Wi-Fi is available in all cabins and a complimentary baby cot can always be provided by request to all the cabins.

Nestled in the Arctic wilderness, Northern Lights Ranch is a haven for Northern Lights enthusiasts. Located above the Arctic Circle amidst pristine forests and clear lakes in Lapland, Finland, it offers a site with minimal light pollution for optimal Northern Lights viewing. Charming cabins blend into the natural surroundings, offering modern comforts.
Step outside your cabin at night to witness the vibrant colors of the Northern Lights. The Ranch offers photography opportunities to capture this ethereal spectacle. Knowledgeable guides lead nightly expeditions to the best viewing spots, enhancing your chances of witnessing the Northern Lights.
Culinaristic highlights
Imagine fine dining while watching reindeer close by. The Ranch boasts a restaurant that serves a variety of tasty Nordic delicacies with an international twist. The menu has been carefully planned by our head chef to ensure that the quality of the food meets with the high standards of the venue, featuring an adjoined illuminated reindeer enclosure.
After an exhilarating day of adventure, you can unwind in the cozy lounge area, sipping on warm drinks by the fireplace, and sharing your Northern Lights stories with fellow travelers. Our aim is to create unique dining experiences which will be remembered for a long time.
Activities
Northern Lights Ranch is designed to serve as an ideal location for various events such as weddings, private parties and corporate meetings. Adjacent to the main restaurant we also have another multifunction room, which serves as an exquisite venue for unforgettable events.
The main restaurant and the multifunction room are connected by our bar area, and both offer views towards the reindeer enclosure. The multifunction room has been especially designed to serve for different types of meetings and events. It is suitable for meetings, weddings, parties and basically any private events for up to 60 persons.
